ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT FOR WALTON FOUNDATION FOR INDEPENDENCE.

We want everyone who visits the Walton Foundation for Independence website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.

What are we doing?

To help us make the Walton Foundation for Independence website a positive place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.

In addition, we strive to make our offices as accessible as possible for all our consumers, partners, staff and visitors.

  • Our offices operate with a Scent-free Policy for those who have chemical sensitivity and/or environmental illness
  • Interpreters can be made available upon request for easier communication (ASL and for non-English primary
    languages)
  • All of our offices are accessible for those utilizing mobility devices or aids
  • For our events: we request all accessibility accommodations (interpreters, large print, braille, etc.) be made as
  • soon as possible. We cannot guaranteed accommodations for requests received with less than 20-days notice.
